Israel have killed at least eight people in their ongoing attack on a Palestinian refugee camp in Jenin. Dozens more have been injured.
The Israeli military have placed the entire camp under siege, not allowing urgent medical supplies in or out. The dead and wounded who need to be evacuated can’t leave.
Reports are saying that they have cut off electricity, telecommunications, and water.
Now they are forcing Palestinians out of their homes as they gear up for another major assault tonight. These Palestinians have already been displaced from their native land once!
This is collective punishment of the Palestinians by an apartheid state. Palestinians have a right to defend themselves, despite what Western governments will say.
We need to step up the international movement to Boycott, Divest, and Sanction Israel to build international pressure to end the apartheid regime.
The Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) have called an emergency protest at 5.30pm today, Tuesday 4th July at the Spire on O’Connell Street. Full details available here.
People Before Profit encourage anyone who can to join the demonstration and voice our opposition to the brutality of Israeli occupation and apartheid.
